You may have heard about the mysterious demises of many people but here it is different. There were some eminent personalities who died shocking deaths that you may have never heard about. Human nature desires to understand the basic concept of death and we as human beings consider any cause that triggered death of our loved ones. This list contains the shocking and tragic death of many influential people including celebrities, government officials and historical figures. Let’s have a look on this list:
1: Samantha Smith (1975-1985)
Samantha Smith was born in 1975 in Manchester, Maine during the time of Cold War. In the year 1982, Yuri Andropov who was the Soviet Union leader, was declared as the threat to peace between nations. The Time magazine published an issue featuring Andropov on its cover. A ten year old girl asked her mother innocently “if people are so afraid of him, why doesn’t someone write a letter asking if he wants to have a war or not?” She did it later and wrote to Yuri. Surprisingly, her letter got noticed all over America after publishing in the Soviet newspaper.
2: Bruce Edwards Ivins (1946-2008)
Bruce was a senior biodefense researcher and he was performing research at the United States Army Medical Institute of Infectious Diseases for 18 years. After 9/11 in 2001, a number of letters containing active anthrax spores were sent to a number of news media offices and two Democratic U.S. Senators. Among all of those people, five were killed and seventeen were severely infected. At that moment, everybody suspected a terrorism group for mailing such fatal material to U.S influential people. But later on after a profound investigation, it was revealed that those letters were sent from the U.S military laboratory and Bruce was the key culprit character of that crime story. This investigation was come out in 2008. FBI warned Bruce about his crime and according to them he is going to be charged for all these crimes. Two weeks later Bruce committed suicide.
3: Danny Gans (1956-2009)
Las Vegas is world famous for its extravagant theatrical entertainment activities. There is a great demand of theatres, concerts, magical shows. Danny Gans who first played as a baseball but later on moved to entertainment industry, signed a contract with a famous hotel in Las Vegas. He was supposed to perform a daily night show at the Mirage Hotel. One night in 2009, authorities received an unknown phone call claiming that Gans was having problem of breath shortening severely. Paramedics tried to treat him but he was already passed away when they arrived. The cause of his death is still unknown.
4: Jeremy Lusk (1984-2009)
Jeremy was a professional motocross ride. He secured trophies in numerous biking competitions. He won the gold at the X games in motocross freestyle and best trick competitions. He also won the bronze helmet at the 2008 Moto X World Championships. In the year 2009 in February, when he was performing in San Jose, Costa Rica he was killed in the attempt of landing using the trick which he had used several times before. He missed something that time and got brain damage and after three days of the accident he faced cardiac and respiratory failure.
5: Joe Delaney (1958-1983)
He was a great football player who had many records and titles on his name. Before meeting to death, he went to the amusement park and warned the children not to swim in the watering hole that was came into being as a result of the construction work and was not for recreation. Later on he jumped into that hole after listening screaming voices of children. Delaney was not a skilled swimmer but he was courageous. He succeeded to recover one child out of that hole but unfortunately he drowned with two other children.
6: Rajiv Gnadhi (1944-1991)
According to the constitution of India, it is a sovereign, socialist and secular republic. The daughter of Jawahar Lal Nehru, Indira Gandhi became the first female prime minister of India. Indira Gandhi and two her two sons were the part of Indian politics. His son, Rahul Gandhi was died in a plane crash and later on Indira Gandhi was killed by her bodyguard. Rajiv Gandhi, who was the other son of Indira Gandhi took the lead Indian parliament as the prime minister of India. Rajiv left his mother’s way in politics he did great job and give India a new economical boost. In the year 1991, a member of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Ealam, Tenmuli Rajaratnam set off a bomb very close to Rajiv Ghandi that subjected him to death.
7: Jessica Dubroff (1988-1996)
Jessica was born in Hercules, California and had great interest in airplanes. She joined pilot classes and at the age of 7 she decided to be the first child pilot in the world. She wanted to fly airplane across the United States accompanied by her father and flight instructor. This story gained popularity. Unfortunately, her plane got crashed only few minutes after the flying due to a rainstorm. The poor weather and overloading on the plane caused the plane to get crashed.
8: Bradley Nowell (1968-1996)
Bradley was an instant guitarist and was hero in his field. He claimed that he can play any tune after listening it once. In 1998, Bradley became the part of a popular band named “Sublime”. Bradley got addicted of drugs to the extreme point. One day he was found dead in his room due to the overdose of drugs. He met the same end as Kurt Cobain and Nirvana.
9: Judith Barsi (1978-1988)
Judith was a small girl and her mother wanted her to be the actress in Hollywood. Her mother’s dream came true and Judith started appearing as a child star in many roles. She got popularity and appeared in a significant number of advertisements, drama, movies, shows etc. Her father became jealous of her popularity and abused her throughout her life. One day, her father shot Judith and her mother dead. After killing them, he dosed their bodies, himself and house and sat it on fire.
10: Owen Hart (1965-1999)
Owen was a popular Canadian wrestler who was associated with WWF. He was very talented and secured many championship belts in very small age. Hart decided to make an unusual entry in ring during the Over the Edge pay-per-view event. According to the plan he was supposed to entangle in the harness and then jumped to the ring at a certain distance. But unfortunately, something went wrong and he fell down from the distance of 78 feet that hurt him deeply from inside. He almost died on the spot due to internal bleeding in chest. After his unfortunate death, his family sued WWF in court and settled for liability of $18million.
