- The followers believed in UFO’s and that the Earth will be wiped out or recycled.
- Marshall Applewhite and Bonnie Nettles taught that the only escape was to get off the planet quickly.
- After seeing the Hale-Bopp comet, Applewhite ordered his followers to commit suicide.

- Charles Manson shared his belief that the Beatles’ White Album were giving messages on how to participate in Helter Skelter.
- Songs like ‘Piggies’ attracted many drug addicts.
6) The Ku Klux Klan:
- The KKK, used to disguise themselves in white robes and hoods.
- They were the off-springs of Christian Identity Movement, and practiced cold-blooded acts.
